Precision Scraping
If your machine does not need a total rebuild but will not hold tolerances, we can grind, scrape and align it for a fraction of the cost of rebuilding.
This process includes grinding hardened ways and hand scraping mating components for proper fit and alignment. In many cases Turcite is applied to bring all axes back to original alignment.
The result is improved tolerances, reduced friction and longer machine life, with flatness and motion restored to factory tolerances.
